Massive congratulations to all the Clonmel Swimming Club members who competed at the Munster Long Course Championship from May 5-7 in UL.

In what where three very long days, the swimmers once again did the club very proud in achieving some amazing PBs, summer national qualification times, reaching finals and a fantastic gold medal for Killian Whelan in the 50 meters Breastroke and a bronze medal for David Killen in the 100meters Backstroke on day two of the event.

Also over the weekend, Swim Ireland Munster recognized swimmers involved in regional activities throughout the session. Including three Clonmel athletes

David Killen as a member of the Schools Interprovincial team, Gary Hanrahan as a member of the Regional Programme and Victoria Szyszkowska as a member of the Munster Regional Skills Academy.
