Irish Summer Nationals

So that’s a wrap on the Irish Summer National Championships 2022 for Clonmel SC. Congratulations again to all competitors, all achieving some great PB’s. It was an exciting but long (and hot 🥵) few days in the NAC.
Thanks to all parents and team managers for your support and help. Thanks to our club official Rose Hurley who took time out of her busy schedule to wish our swimmers the best of luck. Thank you to Ellen Buckley for her support to our swimmers. ❤️ as always thanks to our head coach Niamh for her encouragement, passion and hard work throughout the year. Enjoy the rest of the summer, you did your club very proud AGAIN ❤️

Day 4

Penultimate day at the nationals didn’t disappoint with Marguerite progressing to the 100m freestyle finals this evening.
Thanks as always to our club official Rose Hurley who has been poolside officiating all week and Coach Elllen who gave some great advice. Good luck this evening. 🏊‍♀️💪🤞

Day 2

Marguerite Buckley and David Killen represented the club this morning . Marguerite had 3 events and our Club swimmer of the year didn’t disappoint and qualified for all 3 finals this evening.
It was David’s first time competing at these championships and he came away with a PB. A great day poolside for both.

Day 1

Marguerite Buckley has qualified for the 200m Freestyle final tonight.

This week after a 2 year break due to covid restrictions the Irish Summer Nationals will take place in the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin. Best of luck to our swimmers Marguerite, Killian, David, Garry, Brendan and Gerard who are competing over the 5 days.
