Good evening everyone,
as we outlined previously, both Level 4 and Level 5 of Covid-19 restrictions require all pools to close for the duration of the restrictions.
This is sad for us as a committee as we have worked tirelessly to keep things going since late June. Thank you all and your swimmers for your constant support.
Particular tribute should be paid to our Secretary and our Covid Officer who have been remarkable in their dedication over the last few months, giving of their time and energy without question.
Swim Ireland has pledged that it will continue to make representation on behalf of members and facilities and if there is a loosening of restrictions in the coming weeks, it will be pushing for facilities to re-open at the earliest possible time.
We will, as before in the Spring, be in communication with you our members as often as we can to keep you updated over the coming weeks.
Swimmers will be back in the water soon, stay safe in the meantime.
