Great Achievement of Our Swimmers in Munster Swim Festival (2024)

What a day of swimming at the Munster Swim Festival for 2024 in UL!

We had an outstanding performance from our swimmers, who achieved numerous personal bests (PBs) and brought home several medals.

In the first session, we had 11 swimmers competing:

Zoe Noctor won silver in the 50m breaststroke.

Libby Ryan won bronze in the 50m backstroke.

Both Libby and Zoe qualified for the super final, where they swam the 100m Individual Medley (IM).

In the second session, we had 15 swimmers in the water, all achieving impressive times. A special shoutout to our skins finalists:

U15: Toby Hayes

O15 Girls: Lucy O’Mahony, Lucy Brannigan, and Niamh Smith

O15 Boys: Harry Weymouth, Enda Flynn, Sasha Podgornijs, and Thomas Smith
