More than 500 swimmers will compete tomorrow in a challenging long course event called the Aspiring Championship at the UL Arena in Limerick.
Our club is sending 12 female swimmers (with 34 individual entries) and 20 male swimmers (with 72 races).
The competition is divided into two parts. The morning session starts with a warm-up at 9 am, followed by the boys’ 100m backstroke race at 10 am, and ends around 2 pm with the boys’ 200m butterfly.
After completed all seven events, there’s about an hour break for rest and recover. Swimmers might use this time for warm-up. The afternoon session starts at 3 pm with the boys’ 100m fly and is expected to end around 7 pm.

Good luck to all the swimmers!
