The Mayfield Sports Complex in Cork is buzzing with excitement as it plays host to the Dolphin Open, a level 3 gala. Known for attracting the crème de la crème of swimmers from all over Munster, this event is a showcase of aquatic prowess and skill.
Amidst the gathering of elite participants, our club proudly stands out with three of its finest swimmers taking the plunge today. David Killen impressively competed in both the 400m Free and 50m Back, while Owen Killen put on a strong show in the 400m Free. Sasha Podgornijs, displaying equal vigor, engaged the waters in the 50m Back event.
The performances of our trio not only exuded dedication but also culminated in their personal best times. The ambiance was charged, and the resounding applause and cheers for our representatives truly warmed the heart. Extending hearty congratulations to them on their stellar achievements!
