October\n\n\nSessions :\nThurles 11:30am warm up  12 noon start   Thurles –  Clonmel, Kingfisher. Limerick, Ennis, Nenagh, Askeaton, Tiger Sharks, Waterford, Splashworld, Barracudas, Seaworld, Carrick,\nCeltic Waves\nDouglas  9am warm up 10 am start  Douglas – Blackrock, Sundays Well, Dolphin, Fermoy, Mallow, Kingdom, Kenmare, Clonakilty, Ballybunion, Killarney, Streamline, West Cork Orcas\n\n\nAge:\nAge as 31st December 2022\n\n\nQualification Criteria:\nSwimmers must be at least 10 years of age by 31st December 2022.\nIndividual Age groups 10 years, 11 years, 12 years and 13/14 years\nRelay Age Groups 10-12.  There must be at least 1 male and 1 female and a maximum of one 12 year old on the team.\nAll competing relay swimmers must be entered in the meet.\n\n\nHeats & Finals:\nAll events will be HDW.  There will be no finals.\n\n\nWithdrawals:\nMust be made at least 45 minutes before the start of the meet\n\n\nEntry Deadline:\nEntries must be received on or before 1st October.\nLATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES\n\n\nEntry Fees:\nIndividual entries cost €6per event. Relay entries cost €20 per event.\nFees should be paid directly into the bank account at least 10 days prior to the meet, and must include the name of the club and the name of the meet.\nBank details   BIC – AIBKIE2D    IBAN – IE70AIBK93251559772394             \nNo entry will be processed until the appropriate fee has been received by the Treasurer.\nPlease note that entries are non-refundable once the final date for payment has passed\n\n\nIndividual Entries :\nThe 25m Freestyle kick event is compulsory for all swimmers, and there is no charge for this event.\nSwimmers aged 10 are permitted to swim in 3 events.\nSwimmers aged 11 and over are permitted to swim in 4 events plus the 25m kick.\nThere are no qualifying times for this meet, but swimmers who enter the meet cannot enter the Aspiring Challenger meet until January 1st 2023.\n\n\nRelay Entries:\nClubs are permitted to enter more than one relay team per event. The names of the 4 relay team members swimming in the race and the order of swimming must be declared on the official Team Declaration Sheet and submitted to the Swim Office Table no later than 45 minutes before the start of the session in which the race takes place. Failure to do so will be subject to a fine of €50 without exception and disqualification of the relay team. Relay teams that swim in an order that is different from the declared order of swimming shall be disqualified in accordance with FINA Rule SW 10.12.\n\n\nAwards:\nBands will be awarded to all swimmers for each event they swim.  When all events have been completed by a swimmer they will be awarded certificates.\n\n\nAnti-Doping:\nIt is a condition of attending a Swim Ireland event that swimmers may be required to be tested for prohibited substances in accordance with the Sport Ireland/WADA/FINA Anti-Doping rules.
